Three questions to ask before ordering stickers

Before choosing a sticker type, answer these three questions — they narrow down your choice immediately.

1. Where is the sticker going?
Paper packaging, glass bottle, metal equipment, wood or ceramic surface? The surface you’re applying to is the single most important factor — it determines which sticker type and material will actually stick and last.

2. How many different designs do you need?
One design in one shape, or multiple different designs in different shapes and sizes — all in a single order? This determines whether you need a standard kiss cut sheet or a multiple dieline sheet.

3. Does the sticker need to survive tough conditions?
Outdoors, in water, on surfaces that heat up, or in environments with chemicals? Or is this for standard indoor packaging use? Durability requirements narrow down your material options fast.

Sticker type 1 — Kiss cut label sticker

A kiss cut sticker is printed on a full sheet and cut through the sticker layer only — the backing paper stays completely intact underneath. Think of it like cutting a biscuit shape in pastry but not cutting through the tray. The result is stickers that sit neatly on their backing sheet and peel off cleanly one by one whenever you need them.

Sticker type 2 — Multiple dieline sticker sheet

A multiple dieline sticker sheet works exactly like a kiss cut sticker — but instead of one design on the sheet, you can have up to 30 different designs, each with its own unique shape and size, all on the same sheet. Every design is individually kiss-cut to its own outline so each sticker peels off cleanly and independently.

This is the most cost-effective way to print stickers in multiple shapes and sizes in one order. Instead of placing five separate orders for five different sticker designs, you lay them all out on one sheet and order once. Available in A6, A5, A4, A3 and custom sheet sizes — with the same 11 materials as the kiss cut range.

Sticker type 3 — UV DTF sticker

UV DTF (Direct to Film) is a completely different category from kiss cut or dieline stickers. Instead of a paper or film label applied to packaging, UV DTF stickers are printed using UV-curable ink that creates a raised, glossy, embossed finish — like a premium product decal applied directly to a hard surface.

The key difference: UV DTF stickers adhere directly to hard surfaces — glass, metal, plastic, wood, ceramic, resin, acrylic — without any heat press or transfer tape. Just peel and press firmly. A white ink base layer is printed first, so colours stay vivid and accurate on any coloured or transparent surface.

Like kiss cut, you can squeeze multiple designs of different sizes onto one UV DTF sheet — the full sheet area is your canvas. Sheet sizes: 267mm × 390mm or 180mm × 267mm.
