Dear Expressprint Community,
Today (03 Dec 2025), we received an unmerited 1-star review on our Google page from a user named Yu Jing Lim (see review here). Reviews like this can have a serious impact on our reputation, especially when the claims made are not true. In the interest of full transparency, we are sharing both the review and our response publicly.
For further context, we also observed that this individual has left similar feedback for other printing companies (click to see here). We believe it’s important to address these points openly, clarify the facts, and reaffirm our commitment to honest, professional service.
Official Statement: Addressing Recent Feedback with Transparency
We’re committed to open, honest communication and feel it’s important to address a recent review in detail for everyone’s clarity. To ensure full transparency and make our response easy to follow, we have broken down the review into specific parts (in red), addressing each point directly for clear referencing and replies.
1. “Called thrice in the morning with intervals of 30 mins in between.”
Let’s consider the possibilities:
- If your call was answered: What was discussed? Did you ask about our services, or did someone promise you “cheap” printing? Our team always communicates our pricing and services clearly—no false promises or surprises.
- If your call was not answered: We understand this can be frustrating. However, all our official communication channels—WhatsApp, email, and live chat—are clearly listed on our website for prompt support. What’s truly remarkable is that, even without a phone confirmation, you were interested enough to visit us in person. That shows the trust our reputation inspires, and we appreciate your willingness to check us out directly.
2. “Upon arrival, only then to find out that just to even print 2 pieces of A4 sized document would require at least a set up fee of $3.50, excluding the charges for the 2 pages.”
All our print services are clearly and transparently priced on our website (expressprint.com.sg), so customers always know what to expect—no hidden fees, no surprises.
To make things even easier, we developed PriceCal: our in-house pricing software that gives everyone instant, 24/7 access to all our print prices. With PriceCal, you can check costs anytime, anywhere, without waiting for business hours or making countless calls. This saves time, adds convenience, and scam-proofs our pricing—everything is always upfront and accurate.

For walk-in customers, we handle things the traditional way: our staff will show you the price before starting any job, so you can make an informed decision on the spot—just as we did in your case. That’s our commitment to transparency and customer choice.
3. “Not client-centric at all.”
For us, being client-centric means providing clear information, fair value, and no hidden fees. While we may not always match every price expectation, we always strive for transparency and professionalism.
4. “Must have avoided picking up the phone call to lure unaware customers/victims to their place.”
We categorically reject this claim. Our business is built on transparency and integrity. All pricing is disclosed before any transaction. If simply not answering calls brings customers to our door, perhaps that’s a testament to the trust we’ve built—not a deceptive practice.
5. “Not that the frontline lady’s attitude is good as well. Glad I walked off.”
Our team is committed to treating every customer with respect and professionalism. If your experience did not meet your expectations, we regret any disappointment and are always looking to improve.
Our Commitment
We stand by our transparent practices and value every opportunity to clarify our processes. For the most reliable support, please use our official channels listed on our website.
Thank you to our loyal customers for your continued support and trust.
Sincerely,
Welson Ang (www.welsonang.com)
