  Artwork vs Design  
  Artwork is not design. An artwork is when you already have a existing design to print BUT do not have it print-ready electronic format. Design is something that we have to create from scratch creatively.  
     
  What is Artwork fees?  
 

Artwork fee normally applies to all orders unless you send your entire imprint in an acceptable electronic file. If you require new artwork or the addition of an Internet address, phone number or other changes to be added to existing artwork, this fee will apply. Normally, the artwork fee starts from $20. Complicated artwork may require an additional fee.

 
     
  What is the acceptable format?  
 

In most cases, your files should be in a "vector" .eps format - preferably created in Adobe Illustrator. All images should be converted to "curves." If your artwork is more than one color, each color should be in a different layer and all colors should be included in the note section. Please note: Just saving your file as an .eps file does not make it a "vector" file. If you save a .tif, bmp or .jpg file as an .eps file it will not make it a true .eps file and in most cases it will not be acceptable.. Rarely are .jpg or .gif files acceptable.

  
     
  What does basic Artwork fee includes?  
  This is a summary of what we can offer to you. In the event of "special" circumstances, we can tailor a new package for you.  
     
 
Descriptions Remarks / Disclaimers
Re-typing of all information We will retype all information (with limits of charaters of 1000 letters).
Fonts matching We will try to match the fonts of your original artwork. If special fonts is needed, you will need to provide us. Otherwise, we will providethe fonts we have.
Soft-copy proofing We will send a low res file (jpg or gif) enlarged to 150% - 200% of the actual size for proofing via email.
Hard-copy proofing We will print out a hardcopy using Xerox Printer for checking purposes only. This is NOT a colour proof. The first copy is free, the subsequent copy will be chargeable.
Colour matching We will try our best to match your original colour. However, we cannot guarantee the same colour and effect of the final print output.
Scanning of logo If you do not have your logo in hi-res form, we can scan from your existing collaterals. However, we cannot guarantee the same colour and effect of the final print output. This is only limited to the first 2 logos. W
Vectorizing / redrawing of logos We do not redraw or vectorize your logo. If you do not have the origial files, we can only scan for you.
Returning of hi-res / working files Artwork fees are charged for making your collateral printable. We do not return hi-res / working files.
Storage of files We will store your final artwork for a period of 270days. Thereafer, if you need to reprint your business card, you will need to pay for artwork fees again if you need us to do the artwork..
Insertion of photos We will insert 1 photo (if you applicable). However, we do not touchup or modify your photos. Additional insertion of photo wil charged.l
Modification of different names for business card's artwork. We allowed up to 4 modifications per artwork fees paid (min. $20). This must be done concurrently alongside with the main artwork. For future modification, there will be a minimum fee charged per alteration or modifcation.
